“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes, the ones who see things differently-they’re not fond of rules. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” – Steve Jobs, 1997 Apple 1984 commercial

Many of the people that seem crazy are the same ones that do what most wish they could do. They question everything, they ask “Why not?” and “Why are we doing things this way?” while others just go with the flow. Where others see danger they see opportunity. They prefer creativity over rules, they question authority and go their own way. They are the ones that create jobs, businesses, and products out of their imagination. They may lose everything or become rich they play on the edge of extremes between success and failure and avoid mediocrity and boredom. They are instruments of change for companies and industries as they see what others’ can’t, the future.

The crazy ones are the CEOs that make investors rich, employees part of changing the world, and wow customers into becoming raving fans. Investing in a company ran by a crazy CEO can be one of the smartest decisions you make, because in the long term they tend to win.

You must be a little crazy to change your journey from the easy path to the road less travelled.
